Typical vinaigrettes have a ratio of 3:1 (3 parts oil to 1 part vinegar) – while this recipe is 1:1. If you are sensitive to vinegar, consider reducing the initial amount of vinegar until after the emulsion comes together. Then add vinegar until you reach the desired flavor.
*Note – the original recipe on allrecipes.com called for a ratio of 3:4. We found this to be extremely strong and made reductions accordingly.
